Ive made a good start and removed most the heavy damage but i would like to get it printed today otherwise id do it my self.

Anyone want to give it a go?

Your edit is great, Jay. I would've left it sepia...



...and of course I would have restored the family pet to his rightful place.

You've done fine Jay. But, like art, I'd have a sepia tin to to it. Easily accomplished with hue/sat adjustment layer...
