Why. why, why couldn't L. have increased the allowable dimensions to at the very least 720 pixels for this one? Was really looking forward to another triptych challenge. |

Been asking that same question about challenges in general for years now. No one cares. |

I agree.... the three photos will be very squishy when fitting into 640. |

That was exactly my first thought when I saw the challenge, what are the dimensions. |

Damn! I wanted this challenge as I just worked on an idea last week which is out of the date range. To duplicate it I need to do some outdoor shooting and it is suposed to be raining and windy here all week! We'll see. |

Not sure how we can get 3 panels under the basic editing rules. According to the rules, we are allowed "add a border to the outside edge of your entry". But for the Triptych I would have thought most of us would want a border between individual panels. How can this be achieved within the rules? |

You are allowed to use three pics so I wsould assume that you were allowed to have a border in between

I'll go with that assumption, although it does not comply with the wording of the rule "outside edge of your entry" |

does anyone know if we are allowed to use Fotofusion to create the triptych? |

in Basic editing layers containing pixels are not allowed. So I'm not sure how to do this. I can't layer 3 images, under Basic editing. I guess I have to figure out how to past each image in without creating a new layer, which I know I can do in MSPaint. Anyone know of other apps I can use? I would be grateful. It might be fun to try something new. |

It's being discussed in the "rules changed for this challenge" green thread; I sent a ticket to Langdon about this.

I like Basic because it forces people to learn how to use the camera and that's really what it's all about but this time around I think something more advanced would have worked better. |
