| Tom, you must have the record for the longest gap between registering and first post! Welcome to DPC - just remember not to feed the animals (aka Slippy et al...). I see you have already entered a challenge - you will discover that the update button is pretty addictive. |

Hi Tom.... I'm in California too... It's always nice to add another west coaster to the mix... I can't wait to see you jump into the challenges.. It's lots of fun... Don't be shy either.. Many great people here always willing to chat & offer advice and help if needed..

You live in/near Tracy? Where the Sand Hill Cranes pass by on migration?

Hello from another Californian, I'm just repeating what everyone else has said. "...you'll probably become addicted to the update button", "...probably want to participate in the DPC Olympics", "...maybe even try your shutter competition in the FSM (Free Study Marathon)".
I could go on but you find out soon enough! I'm located in Modesto, if your ever in the area, look me up!
