Ok, so I finally started playing with the Blur command to create a bit more intensity in some of my old photos from when i was first starting out. These pics are from Songkran Festival, the Thai New Year. It was insane. This was done with the Radial Blur command. Wow! That is some crazy stuff. For me the blur commands really help to start to give the snapshot the intensity of what was really going on there.

I realize the lasso could be tighter, but I was only playing around and was more interested in what happens to the background than having a perfectly cut out figure. Which by the way, if anyone has a shortcut to getting a perfectly outlined figure in a photo, please share.

Some of my friends have stated that the radial blur makes them sick. Any comments?

This one was done with the diffuse blur command.

Like the second one very much. Gives you the feeling of great action and also you capture the expression of the womans face very well.
