I stopped and got a few of the sunset this evening. I accidentally shot this at 1meg pix. When I switched a setting, the quality setting got switched as well. It's a good reminder for me to check that as I am shooting. I noticed it when I saw that the number of shots remaining on the card was huge.

Another local front page shot. It's my son's boat in front of the downtown river park for the Christmas "boat" parade. The economy must be pretty bad here when there are only two boats in this event. The weather was a beautiful shirt sleeve sort of evening.

On the way to work yesterday. The white birds are cattle egrets, and the one in the tree is a cormorant. This place is a little getaway about 100 yards from a processing plant. One of the nicest things about photography is that you can sometimes isolate the good stuff for a shot.
