Snapshot of my dad I took today. I rarely get photos of my dad he likes or I like. For some reason I like this one.

ETA Also just noticed it is file 9999, meaning its the 39,999th photo taken with my camera in 2 years. Imagine how many it would have taken if I'd just used one camera all the time instead of always using two. LOL

I'm off to a really late start already. Today was freezing cold and incredibly windy, but I forced myself to go out anyway. I went to a local wetlands area for some migratory bird stalking. These three photos below show I was too late to seek shelter from the wind in the blinds. It became comical after the first, and I started a short series.
  
I did end up with a couple decent photos from the outing, but nothing I'm terribly thrilled with. I went out too late in the afternoon, and 300mm wasn't enough of a reach to catch the hawks and falcons flying around.
