Here is my early Christmas present to myself...
Pentax Newest
Will be getting it with 2 lenses DA L 18-55mm and 55-300mm ED
Picking it up Monday I can't wait.

Congrats, always room for a few more Pentaxians around here.

You might want to head over to Pentax Forums for good deals on used Pentax glass, as well as lots of good info and tips from other Pentax users.

Congrats. Quite a few decent deals going right now for the K-x. I'm on the edge myself, especially with the great high ISO output.

Don't forget to upload the latest firmware update released yesterday.

Welcome to the Pentax fray! The K-x looks like a great camera - did you buy it in red, blue, or storm trooper white?

very good cam, you will be pleasantly surprised of high iso performance, plus AF now is no longer slouch as previous pentax models.

Domp forget to update firmware as soon as you get one.

TIP: Set the battery type manually from menu rather than camera decide for you.

Canon and Nikon people only wish you had all these colours to choose from!

Not really. We prefer the pretty colors to be in the photographs instead. haha

But I must say a nice Navy Blue Nikon would look pretty cool. Congrats on your new toy, I am sure you will enjoy it regardless of the color.

i had choice of all the colors but i only picked the good old black. i am too old fashioned it seems.

I was in best buy with my girlfriend about two weeks ago taking a look at the handling of the G11 vs the S90 and she pointed out the blue canon underwater pocket cam and asked why the blue one was cheaper than the G11/S90. I explained it a little bit then she asked if I could get a blue G11/S90. After telling her no, she said if I was going to pay $500 for a camera I'd want to pick the color. I think she's going to buy a pentax.
