Tx MAVRIC,but I have seen that already, but what i don't uderstand is how to hook up the Clip-on Type coz the cam doesn't have the thing to attach the cam to.. and what is the grip type anyway, is it carried by hand or somehow attached...

The "clip-on" type often has a socket near the base where it would slide into the hot shoe. Some of these come with stands (ex Canon 550ex) so they can be easily used off the camera. Others have aftermarket stands available.

EDIT: Oops forgot to answer the other question... Yes and no, the grip or handle mount flashes can be held by hand or they can be mounted to the camera via a bracket that usually attaches to the tripod screw on the bottom.

Photos of what? Flashes or the sockets? If you go to the B&H website you can see lots of photos of flash units. I would take a photo of the socket on my flash but I'm without a camera until at least Tuesday.

The socket is shown clearly in the document mavrik gave a link to. Yes, your camera doesn't have a hot shoe so you would have to use a cord if you wanted to use an external flash. This can be quite a bit better than a hot shoe mounted flash as you can get the flash far from the lens and create interesting lighting situations.
