Its been freeezing around these parts and what better way to enjoy.. skating and some shinny.
I tried to build a rink every year for the kids. Last year I was unsuccessful. I was late in getting the boards set up and it never happened. But this year I made it happen. My kids are on it at least twice a day and let me tell ya, theres no greater feeling than watching them out there having a blast (when they are not bugging each other).
Anyone else have a rink. Post your pics here.

Nice back yard. In NYC we have a couple of rinks, but a bit more crowded than yours. |

VEry Nice!
I was refering to the World Junior Hockey Championships. THus the hostility towards the US right now. The USA just beat our boys 6-5 in OT! What an awesome game! My boy is devastated!
Any of you Yanks watch it? Did you know about it? Do you care?

That it was. I missed my camera club meeting to watch. As to the original request. If you get a break away on this rink you better have a ride back... :)
I took this on Boxing Day. You know...the day the World Juniors started.

I'm not a hockey fan, but it's fun to go to a local match once in a while. In Florida, we have to use refrigeration equipment to make the ice.
Here's a shot from the last one that I went to.

Hope I did this right. I shoot figure skating for a couple of programs locally. Not whole rinks, but I think they count.
If not feel free to cut me down to size!
