| Were any of the images stolen since the transparent-overlay-prevent-right-click-save protection was implemented? I think it was better without it because the image can be stolen easily either way and at least when the right-click capability was there, most thieves would forget to change the name from "Copyright_Image_Reuse_Prohibited_", making them very easy to find. |

Actually, speaking of people taking photos without permission, here's an interesting search result.
Just a search of all photos with out "Copyrighted_Image_Reuse_Prohibited" moniker on PhotoBucket.
Note also that Photobucket allows these to be used to make/buy mugs, etc.

That was my point about getting rid of the transparent overlay - makes them easier to find than printscreen-crop-save-as-newname. |

Doing the same search on Flickr shows up a bunch of DPChallenge images on the first page of results. Some of them have already been nailed in the comments.

also, someone left a comment on the goat picture laying claim to it, but I don't know who it is...
edit to add - actually, it looks like the same person commented on both the goat and hare images, so maybe the goat pic is Alain's?

Interestingly, in browsing the first few 25 pages of those search results this one has been posted by four seven separate people. You'd think at least one of them would have complained they were being ripped-off if it was really their photo ...
