Go to Image/Image size.
In the box, you will see a number for the resolution of the image. In the Resolution box, enter your desired resolution, then click "OK" to complete. This will change the resolution.
Does it matter the finished size? If so that requires a bit more adjusting and instruction. |

If you shoot in RAW format, you should be able to select the DPI before opening in PS. You don't want PS to upsize and create more pixels. Depending on what you use to open the raw files you can change prior to opening in PS. Not sure but there also might be a setting in camera to allow you to select either 240dpi or 300dpi.
I have to double check that, but you can start there. |

Depends on the size of the calendar.
If it is the standard size wall calendar then the size for each page will be 11 x 8.5.
At 300 dpi it would mean your picture would need to be 3300 x 2550. Once you find out what dimensions they want it at just multiply the size (i.e. 11x 300 =3300) to get what dimension size your image needs to be. If it falls under that resolution size it is NOT advisible to 'upsize' it for that affects picture quality. |
