Saturday and Sunday we let the owner's of the original decide who did the best job on the photo. The winners each get a 'point'.

Monday we start all over with new originals. We'll do this for 3 more weeks.

The persons with the most 'points' at the end of the month wins.

May be flawed, but so far so good.

Two a week, yup. But not until Monday.

I'm thinking next week we'll have more originals. Thus, more chances to score 'points'.

This was my original edit for my rejected December FS entry. Can't exactly remember editing steps, but there was tonemapping and glamour glow in there somewhere. Having seen all the great things others have done with it, I would likely do it differently now.

Finished another one! This time it's at "normal" (800px) resolution.

ETA: You might need to refresh to see the right thumbnail and image, I kept modifying it after first uploading it.

I'm looking forward to re-doing mine, too. I've learned a lot... especially how different people treat the eyes.

I'd like to put this one in and take the other one out. Sorry! The eyes on the other one just didn't seem sharp enough.

Denoise
crop
change to sepia using Nik silvereffex
contrast
Add lens flare using CS4 filter effects
add a little vignette
denoise again
resize & save for web
