this one needs to be put in and that's it for me. :) Oh and by the way...not that it matters but I'm not on the list of participants either.

Anybody opposed to a point system where the submitters pick a 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place?... with point beings 3,2, and 1 respectively.

I'll keep taking submission until midnight tonight, then we'll give the submitters of the originals a couple of days to post their winners.

Then we'll start anew on Monday with a call for originals. After the 4th week we'll do the math and crown a winner. Fun!

It's all fine with me. It is just a lot of fun seeing all different interpretations of the same image!
Maybe you could bring down the number of pictures per challenge to 2 or 3.

Cheers

Sure, that way there will be less chance of ties, too. Good idea.

I'm interested to hear what everybody else thinks about placing a cap on the number of originals.

Less or more?

I like having more choices. But maybe we should limit how many you can edit to give more people a chance to have a "win".

I didn't think this was a hard core competition, I say just do as many or as little as you want. In the end, it will be the original photographers that have to go through them all

I think it was a good amount of images to work on. Most of all, it is a lot of fun!! I agree that we should edit as many as we want, and it will be up to the originating photographer to weed through the options.

Cynthiann - the rating system sounds fine.

OK, I say more the merrier. If I start getting too many to handle I'll cut it off there. As far as limiting the number of images to PP, I think that would just be hard to monitor and the contributors would get a lower number of images. So I'll just keep it like it is now. I'm already looking forward to Monday. The only thing I'm thinking of doing different is keeping the contributors anonymous. I'm kind of back and forth on that.

It doesn't really matter. It's all for fun anyway! LOL!

I have a question. Say I wanted to add a unedited large size pic. How would I do this?

The same way you would add any picture, just add the large size and it will resize it for dpc and provide the link for the full size picture.
