Yesterday my brother and I saved this owl from a silo. The owl was trapped in there for six days. Our DNR said he would find his own way out and they were not going to do anything. So I climbed in and caught him. It was quit easy I walked up and grabbed a hold of his leg then he grabbed a hold my fingers. He never even tried to bite me. Then I put him in a pillow case and lowered him down. Took him outside and he flew away. My brother went back in the same area where we last seen him and he was gone. I was walking on the clouds all day yesterday. Please excuse my writing I am not the best.

How was it trapped? How'd it get in there? Looks like daylight coming from overhead. ???
It's great you were able to help it - just curious about things that your photos don't tell us. :-) |

He flew in a window at the top about fifty feet up. The silo was only 14 feet wide so that made it hard for him to fly.
And it was about 9am. |
