What this challenge was all about
Signature style
Was that a part of the plot? Read the description carefully (let's have some fun you say), and what this challenge was all about. Or was this a trick so you would collect more of your data and call people cheaters.
SC you just want to be in control so again I say: When great success brings with it arrogance and tyranny instead of humility and consideration the dawn of fall and self-destructions becomes imminent.

My apologies for, ummm, interjecting.. But if you might read a bit more thouroughly before throwing up yoru hands in (very vocal) disgust, you might see that the SC has already publicly stated that a reconsideration is (and perhaps, always was) likely.
I do apologize for saying so, but I feel this is a pretty shameful show of rashness (both upon yourself, and several others who have reacted hysterically..)

When I was a newb here I did the same thing. I read and kept up with a semi yearly drama around here that got pretty heated. As soon as I was worked up enough to chime in a say something like 'dudes, stop fighting, this is so not cool' there was another thread where everybody was hugging and drinking a lot. It was pretty confusing at the time, but very endearing now that I know you guys. Now where's the other thread, I need another rum and coke. |

I'm in no hurry to do anything. I wasn't going to cancel my account anyway (all those pretty pictures!), but I must caution you that I will always be vulnerable to this sort of accusation. When  silverfoxx first started I gave her 10, 10, 8, 9, 10, 8, 10, 9 and then grigrigirl had a run of 9, 10, 10, 10, 9, 10, 10, 10. These people are artists, and they were exploring a particular avenue, and I was right there with them. I require a certain amount of trust. I've been a bit dismayed myself at how often I pick  pointandshoot for ribbons, and amazed at how long his streak is, but I have reasons for the way I vote, and I will gladly bore any skeptic for pages about those reasons if they're interested. Pick any of my 10s and I'll write you an essay on why I gave it a 10. The reasons are about the images, not the people.
I'm not storming off or holding grudges. I'm waiting to hear what the SC comes back with. |

This is totally expected and generally not the only thing we look for. Almost everyone involved in this had evidence beyond just their voting patterns (login behavior, site behavior, password hashes, etc). We don't just scrutinize voting patterns to determine who may be violating rules.
Anyway... emails and a follow-up is forthcoming. This thread will likely be locked afterwards and then we can move on with league play. |

| Well, before this thread is locked I would like to say I've been reading it from the start & I'm very impressed with the passion, dedidcation, interest, & time people are willing to put into this. There is just WAY to much to read. Just let me know who gets fired or leaves when it's all over.
BTW, does this mean that 2010 Average will go up some if someone gets kicked out??? Hmmmmmm
