Peter, I missed seeing this when you posted it on the 23rd January. I'm glad to hear things are looking up, and that you and your son are taking such a holistic view of the experience, as it were. My continued prayers and best wishes will flow.

Prayer works! We do not always get the answer that we want, but it is not for us to question the answer we are given.
I am very happy to hear that your son is better, I hope that you will be able to keep in contact thru DPC, and that you will have a computer, even though your camera had to be given up. Perhaps there is an even better camera in the future for you too.

Hey! Really happy to hear that things are so much better today. Wish I could do more than just pray for you.
Sorry to hear about the 5D, medical expenses are never fun.

Thank God for his grace!

Isn't it amazing how ones focus and priorities change when it comes to your children. I mean to say we all care and share, but the pain of being a parent sometimes is unbearable.

Thank you from both Cubus and me, from his own lips "Dad, please tell all of them God bless them too". Yip, and even better today, not even a petit mal! Great isn't it. So from now on, no news is good news but because I am humbled by this force of care, I will not keep you out of our lives.

If you are interested, google "Lipoid Proteinosis" and share some of the life he lives. He is on of about 10 that has been dealt the worst of the worst cases, but I agree with him, it is God's will to touch other people through him, he does not care to cary this cross.

On a lighter note.... gone is my 5D or it's replacement. His ER cost $2000 plus, the after treatment and dentals anothe $2500 and the increase in his medicine, (just for 40 days, then it is paying up again) another $2000. All in all, in addition the medical bills, the about $7000 spent was worth it in every sense of the word. Take care, and thanks again.

I am not a religious man, I am sorry. But I want to send you my sincere hopes that all goes as well as it possibly can for your son. I guess that is SOME kind of prayer. Good luck to you and may next week be one of the best weeks in your life.

Thank you for keeping us updated Peter! I have prayed for Cosie so much today and yesterday -- that he will have a complete recovery -- but also for you to be comforted and have strength and peace as you walk through this in that ever-so-important role as "Dad" to Cosie!

We'll all be looking for any tidbit of good news as he gets better!

Just in... they are increasing his dossage times 4, the antibiotics was fine and above all, I am smiling, there is no brain damage, at least not more than before.

Thanks again to all.... I will keep you posted.

Can a grown man have so many tears.... thanks for all your prayers and thoughts, I will never forget this.

Quick feedback, he has been in and out of the aura all night and day but no seizure again, his body hurts badly and his spirits are a bit low but he is fine, no big damage.

The Korean people are now doing more than anyone before to help him, he has a professor dedicated to do whatever is humanly possible. Preliminary thoughts are that it may be the antibiotics the family doc prescribed on Saterday for a serious ENT infection that is clashing with his Epilim. Now they are also looking into better medication etc etc.

Thanks again, the power of prayer from all over the world is felt on this side.
