Thanks Everyone for pitching in.

Thanks once again.

Thanks for the edit.

I don't have portrait professional :(

Did you do any special processing with the eye ?
They seem bigger and more lively.

Also, look at that photographers portrait work (Raphael Guarino) . Really stunning. I figure if you can use or borrow some of his techniques...you're home free.

photos are really amazing :)
... but where do I find the editing tips from him :(

The file is pretty small so I put a boarder on it.

Original I have is good size, but I definitely like the idea of rotating it....Adds a dynamic effect to me

Thanks

Prashant, here is what I could come up with.

Personally I would drop that blue border. It does nothing but take away from the model, imho. And I would leave the stray hairs in place, cloned out it looks unnatural, almost like a wig.

Feel free to add a blue (or green) border in there somewhere.

I did the eyes with portrait professional. You can widen the eyes with it realistically, you can sharpen just the eyes, blacken the pupils, brighten the iris. It's a great program if you frequently do portraits and back when I got it was really inexpensive. I'm not sure what it costs now though. I know they do have a free trial though, you might consider trying it and see if it fits what you do.

Actually you are right, ever since I have read this post I too feel the same.

I fixed the border issue by de-saturating it but the hair I could not fix.

I came way too ahead to go and do the complete editing again...

I would add this to my experience :-
* Replacing bkground is a pain and not a good idea.
* Don't do excessive clean up.
* Look for a method to go back and edit a later stage without effecting the other

( above is just a side effect of being a s/w engineer )

I don't think that is necessarily true.
