What is the reasoning behind only allowing entry into one open challenge and not both? The ability to enter more than one a week no doubt would be helpful in improving peoples skills, which is what I thought this sight was about. If it was about keeping the entrees down to a reasonable number, maybe the Site Council should rethink this issue, at one time it was common to have 400+ entrees, over the past couple of years it has been rare to have 200 entrees in a challenge

i asked the same question a few weeks ago.

i believe it was to get entries per challenge up.

I think another idea would be instead of having the member challenge and choosing one of the open challenges to maybe spread the open challenge so they they aren't on the same day and having two per week.

this way is people don't like an idea they don't have to wait a whole week to enter another challenge.

members can enter at least two a week, as well as free studies, speed challenges, and side challenges. lotsa options.

registered users can only enter one a week.

so, if you want to enter more, it's as the saying goes..."if you want to play, you have to pay"

200 entries to vote on per Open challenge seems very resonalble to me vs. having to vote on 300+ or more images (Yes, I vote 100% of a challenge when I vote)

I've always assumed that it was to give other people a chance.

I would probably find it annoying if ' . substr('//www.dpchallenge.com/images/user_icon/21_F.gif', strrpos('//www.dpchallenge.com/images/user_icon/21_F.gif', '/') + 1) . ' IreneM & ' . substr('//www.dpchallenge.com/images/user_icon/21.gif', strrpos('//www.dpchallenge.com/images/user_icon/21.gif', '/') + 1) . ' Gyaban won both open challenges. If they're in one, I might stand a chance at the other one. :)

Do they let you know where they're at? That would be useful info.

haha! That would be great. Show us a list of who entered what challenge so we can avoid those challenges. :)
