Basic editing - when was the last time that happened for a portrait challenge?

Well, we can't very well have anyone dodging the milk :)

No no, it's burning the milk you want to avoid. Burnt milk is really hard to clean.

So what's the secret to getting that really thick and creamy milk mustache that is shown in all the ads? Anyone know?

Not sure, but off the cuff I'd guess heavy cream.

' . substr('//hornstrafarms.com/product_images/large/oakhurst_heavy_cream_1pt.jpg', strrpos('//hornstrafarms.com/product_images/large/oakhurst_heavy_cream_1pt.jpg', '/') + 1) . '

I googled it. It's ice cream or a thick milk shake that they use in all the "Got Milk" ads.

Ooh, an excuse to get a milkshake from that place down the street!

Semi-softened icecream is what the Got Milk people used when they were doing a college tour.

Um, I read that they do use that for some milk in the bowl food ads, but not a tasty or great thing to have near your mouth ,-P

Maybe a better alternative would be some white cake icing (I used this to mimic whipped cream on my Banana Split photo entry for Food Recipe III) mixed with milk. Or maybe whipped cream and milk mixture to get the thick mustache.

It's non-toxic, and it doesn't really taste bad, in fact I have a certain nostalgia for it. ;)

Of course, I have an actual mustache, so I'd have to be sure and use the water soluble variety.

How about zinc oxide (sun-block)?

This and the "post an item from your house" challenge are both lame in my opinion, and I will not participate. Good luck to everyone else!
