I haven't entered a challenge in a while but I have a couple of ideas I'm going to try. Actually looking forward to seeing what people do with this one.

HA! No one contests my weirdness. :D

Sorry about the difficulty of the challenge. It's not my fault. It's whoever came up with Euphemisms as a chellenge. I searched for a site on them, found it... then found Palindromes.

Totally not my fault.

This could be fun if I'm not too lazy about looking for a specific prop or two and a person to be a model. Found a great palindromic sentence that would translate well I think.

Or I'll just go find something symmetrical to take a photo of...

This was a graffito found inscribed on a wall at Herculaneum, and dates from 79AD. Look at it very carefully. You'll have to Google to find out what it means.

He probably doesn't need to use the split lens device...

Yep.. and just be sure to clean the tuba when you are done...

interesting challenge, but some of the examples on the website cited above and also here are pretty awkward, if not outright lame...

i'm thinking of going with the more "pure" single word versions, although that is going to limit the choices quite a bit.

Funny - I knew what a palindrome was and the first idea that came to mind was symmetry; iow an image that, viewed side to side or top to bottom or vice versa would repeat itself and start and end the same. I didn't think of illustrating a verbal palindrome until I read this thread. I agree that expert editing might have been a lot more fun for that -- not so much for the creation of it (I'm not an expert editor) as for the viewing/voting pleasure.

It's an opportunity! This is basically a free study, just like euphemisms. Make a list of say, 10 palindromes that you like/relate to/are easy, etc....those 10 things are your given subjects. Examples:

Devil never even lived.
Emily’s sassy lime
I’m a pup, am I?
Mr. Owl ate my metal worm.
Nurses run.
Top spot.
Tons o’ snot.
“Rum… rum…” I murmur.
Mad as Adam.
Ma has a ham.

You could do a million different things with those...
The possibilities are endless! :)

Nah, they're a dime a dozen - hahaha - I got it from Wikipedia "A palindromic prime is a palindromic number that is a prime number, for example, 191 and 313."
You don't think I knew that before my bit of research did ya? :p

I came across the palindrome list while searching for euphemisms...

I have equally no idea of what to shoot for this as I did for that. LOL!

I'm just as interested to see what I come up with.
