Well, at least last month it was. Maybe it's a spring thing?

And I made the mistake of entering a dog. I wish someone had told me.

If you'd entered a bird, the challenge would have gone to the dogs... live with it :-)

Perhaps an exclusive one with cats?

I could be wrong (or maybe I dreamed it), but I think dogs was suggested and then people chimed in with "what about cats? Iguanas?? Fish??? Toy Robots????" - basically the "it's no fair to those of us who don't have access to ___________" gripe.

All that aside, +1 from me even if it ends up being a "Pets" challenge (haven't had one without people).

Dog/cat challenge?

My dog is pretty dang old and not really the best looking dog in the world due to skin allergies and such but I do need to get a few good shots of her for when she goes we still have the memories on print.

I'm in. :)

ETA - Typo.

Same here - I'm in! Our old dog isn't in the best shape and I should get some pictures of him now before it's too late.

A few days before she passed away, I took a picture of our old cat, Annabelle, for the challenge: "In The Style Of: bspurgeon". Didn't get a great score on it but it's one of my favorite images of her.
