Really, any camera will do. Go to a thrift store. This is one of those wonderful challenges where a KrappyKamera really does have a chance at performing very well.

I'm still just ear-to-ear grin about that ribbon with my $10 2MP junker P&S - winning this with junk would bring extra bragging rights for sure.

:D

The Jury is the same as last time around minus two individuals: ubique, who no longer lives here, and LevT, who's too busy with other activities to get involved this time around. The jurying process will be essentially the same. We have a very diverse set of viewpoints represented, and we will come to a gentle consensus that will leave none of us entirely thrilled but will be nevertheless acceptable to all.

That's the plan anyway. Nice digital bling will be awarded. The regular voting by the regular voters will still award the regular ribbons. The jury part is outside of that.

Fee;l free to ask me more questions, I seem to be nominated as Speaker-to-the-Town.

That might be a mistake perhaps copying and pasting the description from the previous challenge ... an "in-depth investigation" has been initiated ... ;-)

No, there is a jury. Hopefully, Bear Music will describe it instead of me.

Must be a lot of drinking involved in the process, then. :)

Yes, I do quite agree. Just didn't want it on the back of the happiness challenge.

It's funny to me that you think pictures of doors is the same as a fine arts challenge.

It's funny to me that you fail to see the reasons why.

As much as I like this challenge suggestion, I think maybe it would be better in, oh, say 5 days?

Since we have Happiness up now, which is, for all purposes, much like a fine arts challenge, it would just seem silly to have this now to me.

Forgive me, but I'm going to bump some more diverse topics, in the hope that this might come up in a few days, and thereby space out the art challenges a bit more.
