It's not great but the best I could do after running the 100 yard dash to get to the right spot. This is my wife and daughter receiving their diplomas at the same time. I will be eternally grateful to anyone that can help with editing. If possible something printable at 8 by 10.
Thank You
Alan

So i am not the one with any type of photoshop skills, sorry, but something that will help any helper: Did you save the RAW file as well? Think S95 can save RAW. Then there will be much more leverage in post-processing.

You want to put that in your workshop, in your portfolio we can't make a copy to mess around with. If you want it to print 8x10 you will need it at least 1600 pixels on the long side for acceptable quality.

Congrats to your wife & daughter! I don't have mad Photoshop skillz, but I have a few questions:

Do you really have hurricanes in Utah? Is Utah in Dixie? Or Hawaii ( since they appear to be wearing leis)?

Sorry didn't have time to shoot in raw. Moved to workshop.

Hurricane Utah is named for the winds. St. George Utah where the collage is located is called Utah's Dixie, when it was founded by the Mormons it was intended to be a place to grow cotton.

Ahh. Those just seemed curious names for places in Utah. You learn something new every day.

Not a guru by any means but here is an initial edit.

' I took a swipe at it but with the long leg at under 800 pixels every time I tried to get the features to tighten up i ended up with the pixel dance. If that is the native size of the image then the trick I know is to do the upscaling dance which could help a little, but is a time pig. Is there any hope of a bigger file Alan?

see if you like this

The bigger file helps. There is still a lot of noise in this but at least you can see the expressions, and it should gain quality in a print as it gets that small blur.

Here is my attempt. I saved my work product so it is easy to adjust brightness or saturation for printing if desired. Just send me an IM.

Ok, I am late to the party, but it's a good thing I showed up
because he specifically asked for "mad Photoshop skills"

I thought I'd give it a try even though I am a PS novice.

Maybe someone with PS CC can run the motion blur filter over it and see what happens?

Here you go...

I used photoshop's focus fixer, then I multiplied the layer for more contrast, then I ran Perfect Resize and made it smaller, then ran it again and made it larger again. I also did a crop and straighten.

That really cleared it up, and you have a 200 dpi original now at 8x10.

Make sure you look at the full size image using the link on the photo page.
