How many of you watch a movie only to realise, way, way in, that you've seen it before because some irrelevant detail, a set of keys on a table maybe, flashes the light bulb? That's been happening to me for some time - and now it can even happen with books. No wonder we can look at photos we've seen before and see them as new.

that was fun. I wonder if I am the only one old enough to remember the straw seating on the subway... I wonder about that shoeshine boy... And I loved the man with the garbage can. And, say, what about the title, Whatsisface "drinking a beverage?"

I forget a lot of things, but not Kubrick's photography. (not yet anyway)
