+1... tilt shift effect could apply here too!

And... as long as the viewers think "miniature" when they see the image, anything should work!

Yep, that's about the best way to get that effect, either in-camera with camera preset, or with software post application.

Why not Archival? Isn't that the current trend given peoples limited ability to move about? Do you not have many "archived" miniature images (which is quite possible given the uniqueness of this type of image)?

ETA - Wait! Hmm. So we could use basically any prior image if it was Archival, and just apply miniature in post. Then it becomes an issue of finding the right image in our archives to apply the effect to. It doesn't work with just any image (to get the right look and feel).

Or the third way: in camera, with lens angled versus sensor, such as lensbaby or more traditional bellows/technical camera (I once had a 4x6 inch Cambo, non digital)
