Never try and pick up your cat whilst it is attacking a dog! I am now sporting several puncture wounds to my shooting hand and deep cuts down my arm! I Should of let the dog cop it!!

Ahhh....nothing a bit of Dettol and bandaids couldn't fix! Friggin' sore fingers though! When I first got him away though from the amount of blood that started hitting the floor I though it'd slashed my veins!! hehehe

Makka - you REALLY need to get it looked at as cat scrathes and bites can easily become seriously infected. I know - we see folks at the hospital with these injuries

Keep a really close eye on them will ya Neil, cat puncture wounds and deep scratches can get pretty nasty. Had a fair amount of (ouch)experience with them.....work at an spca.

Man, cat scratches hurt like crazy. Watch it carefully. BTW, where are pics of the battle damage? <grin>

I broke up a fight between two of my pugs a couple years ago and almost lost my shutter finger! Got real infected just over a 24 hour period. My entire hand was swollen, red and burning hot. If you get any redness and warmth to the area you will need to get antibiotics. Don't wait!

I can totally imagine. My cats are indoor cats so never get to actually attack rael/live animals. I patted my kitty this morning when she was watching a birdy out the window and boy was she mad. She would have attacked me like yours did to you, if the bird had been on the inside and I had hindered her lol

Well for Pete's sake, quit complaining about it and take some pictures of it so we can enjoy it too. Have you picked up the critter to see it is OK ? You probably tramatized it.

I think you have killed the cat. Post us a picture so we can see for ourselves it is OK.

But, if I hadn't of stepped in the poodle was gonna be cut real bad! It's like lions and hyenas but on a much smaller scale! Who rules that situation? hehehe

Oh, and the hand is feeling ok! Looks much better now all the dry blood is gone! It's funny cause the puncture wound where all the blood was initially gushing from is the smallest mark on my hand! Wierd!

Sounds like you missed a real opportuntiy for a motion-blur shot of the battle in action for "Long Exposure" challenge...

Ok ok! First is the hand damage...about 6 hours now since the event! Looked worse at the time with the blood flow! The second is the culprit....his name is Frodo....and here he is trying to eat another family member! BTW...if anyone knows a way I could clear the water in this photo it would be very much appreciated! It looks very yellow (and no, it's not!)
