Your London GTG should get on the train to Amsterdam! ;)

Jan 21/22, that weekend. If people come from abroad we could make it a whole weekend, you know, with windmills and all. Saturday Noord-Holland, Sunday Amsterdam.

So we are now in December, are there any further plans for this GTG?

I am still willing to come all the way to Amsterdam ;)

We won't be able to make those dates because my last working day is January 28th and I seriously doubt they are gonna give me a few days off just before that. Anytime after April/May we'd be able to make it since we'd be back in the UK for good and I'll be a civilian again!!!!! *does the happy dance*

I'll make a new post about this soon, to avoid confusion.

I think if I lived in Amsterdam I wouldn't get out of the coffee shops! ;}-~

This is very provisional, but we (myself and chiqui74) *might* be able to come along to this, if it's in January. However, our other commitments may change between now and then, so class us as a 'maybe' for now :o)

EDIT: reminded by chiqui to include her too

Hey Sander, you were right, the picture was taken near Ransdorp. Like the idea of an Amsterdam GTG. Januari is fine to me.

I would love to, but Dec & Jan aren't too good for me. I'm off to New Zealand in Feb & flights there are pretty expensive. I'll stay tuned though.

January 21 (Sat) and/or 22 (Sun), 2006?

December is such a busy month, especially for us Dutch with our Sinterklaasfeest early December, followed by Christmas late December.
January will be busy for me too (8-15 Finland, pick up my new MC etc), but we got to set a day.

Well, I say january, perhaps everyone else favours December 17/18th.

Here is a good Amsterdam Gallery for people who don't know what to photograph in A'dam...

What was going on in A'dam ?

Small mistake, I meant tonight. It's "museum nacht"

I'm just back from a dinner plus a few museum visits. Great ambiance around the musea. Because I am a 'friend' of the Hermitage we went there first. When I got out the line was 30m long, waiting time between 30 to 60 minutes. :)
After that we went to the Portuguese Synagogue nearby. I didn't expect much but was pleasantly surprised. Music, dancing, a lot of people enjoying and inside singing lit by a thousand candles. I simply got a happy feeling.

Indeed, it would have been a great GTG night.
