I'm 34 and turned pro to shoot weddings back in the eighties. (Note to self: that sucked. Turning pro means you have to shoot what other people want you to shoot and dulls your creativity.) Now I take take boring product shots and such. I am returning to DPC so I can try to stimulate my creativity.

| I'm 29. This is my first post. I'm an amateur. I know more about Photoshop than I know about my 995, but I know how to take good pictures with my 995. And I know the difference between an f/stop and a stop sign ;) |

| I am 48 years young ... still a beginner, looking forward to moveing up to amateur status. I feel i will be able to do that when i get rid of this Kodak and get a real camera . My piggie bank is beginning to put on a little weight. lol |

| 29 - very amature. according to my last 2 challenges, nobody likes my work. came in last plast in both challenges. i cant see why, some of the things i have submitted, i personally feel were better than some i had seen. i dont want anyone to take offense to anything i may have said, not of it was to offend anyone. i have just joined DPChallange a few months ago. |

Wow purpletroll, your last two pics managed to beat logic in placing lower than the number of entries in each challenge! How does one achieve a placing of 191 out of 190 pics? Now THAT's impressive :)
[edit - added a smiley because looking back at the post, it looked a bit sarcastic. I love the inherent ambiguity in electronic text...not. Great way to make enemies unintentionally.]
