Since there's so much hype about "06-06-06" I thought I'd stir up something that I'm truly afraid of.

When Christians display the symbols of their faith, I'm not especially disturbed, since I believe that most of them are well-intentioned and have goodness in their hearts (whether or not I agree with everything they do). It does disturb me to wonder how many of them are hiding behind those symbols as a way to mask their true evil.

When Satanists display their symbols of faith, I must admit that it really scares me. I believe that Satanism is alive and well in the world and it has been estimated that at least 1% of the population practices this religion. It's also been suggested that those who do worship the devil are among the richest and powerful people in the world. Satanism, by definiton, is about evil. So I doubt that there are many undercover "do-gooders" in that cult.

Imagine trying to make a difference in the world and being shut out by a secret club of people who practice rituals and crimes that boggle the innocent mind. What if most of what you get from the media is carefully designed to keep you distracted from the true agenda of people who practice evil as a lifestyle?

What if leaders of both political parties are "in bed together" and orchestrate their conflicts so that we have something to get excited about while they continue to amass their wealth and power?

If this isn't true, perhaps someone can explain to me why so many people flash the "Sign of Satan" in the public eye? People who profess to be "Christians" yet participate in the Satanic rituals of secret societies. All the while eroding the system that we have been led to believe gives us freedom and civil rights (although I'm beginning to wonder about this , too). How do Christians feel to have this symbol waved at them as though these people are saying "F*#$ you"? It seems like a horrible deception to think that they used their "Faith in God" as a tool to get elected and flash the "Sign of Satan" on their way to church.

I'm not even Christian, and this outrages me. Am I the only one?

I watched TV for a brief time last night and saw this sign flashed by a comedian, some fans, a talk show host and on an I-pod commercial.

Sorry for the Christian links, but they explain this better than any others that I've found.

OK, I'm off to eat dinner. I'll be back for my flaming later;)

Until they explode a car bomb and say it's in their faith to do so, I don't really care what they do.

It's more like they're trying to return to feudalism, with them as the barons and us as the serfs. Would you really prefer being starved and worked to death to a nice clean explosion?

Satanists don't think they're evil. "Evil" is a term used for the other guy. Most people think that they're good and that they're doing the right thing, especially when they practice religion. Satanists believe that Satan was unfairly characterized in the Bible, and even more so by dogma that isn't even in the Bible.

Just don't ask how I know this...

That's not what I got out of the original post.

We are already 'cows' out for the slaughter. Haven't you noticed that we fight for people that base our beliefs on God and Country in other lands.

Seems like my people, a great warrior nation at one time, has been driven into a corner by those same people because we don't believe in the same things as they do. Greed being top of the list.

We already are being starved to death. Haven't you noticed that gas prices have gone up? Don't you know that the dominoe effect reachs out to the very milk our children drink?

And lastly, depending on what tax bracket you are in, you could be working a minimum of 3 months for the government before you actually are netting any money at all. Do we really need that advanced weapon over a good educational system, or a good medicare system?

So, to answer your question, yes.

Sorry if I seemed a little over excited in my post.

Actually, so would I, if only in the hope that people will notice what's going on before a second American Revolution becomes necessary.

I don't believe it's necessarily Satanic, just evil.

Wikipedia also has an interesting entry on satanism. Worth reading if you're going to fear it.

So......

I'm a UT fan. (I bleed Orange!) BECAUSE I openly do the hand sign, I'm Satanic? That is what I get from the two links. I might be wrong, don't know.

what I do know is that at the 2005 Inauguration the UT Band was in the parade. Bush is from Texas. When the A&M Band passed he did the "gig 'em" hand sign. (Thumbs Up for those who don't know) If Texas Tech(I think they were) was there he would have done the "Thumb index finger guns thing." It is not a sign of UT Sports. It is a sign of the School. At the ball they played "The Eyes of Texas are upon you" It is UTs School Song. You do the hand sign when it is played. There were SEVERAL UT Alumi at his Inauguration.

My $.02

Hook 'em Horns

Don't care about them... that is why I didn't mention them.

You can't ignore them just because they don't fit in with your explanation surely?

That's just what most people arguing matters of religion do.

And i'm presenting "evidence" that I thinks prove Bush is not Satanic. Just like the article prduced evidence that he is. I don't have anything to "prove" the others aren't or are. I Never refuted that they could be.

Just like the article failed to mention that the UT Band was at the parade where most of the 2005 Inauguration Pictures were taken? That doesn't fit into their explination does it?

The article I linked to did mention it. Was the band at the ball too and every other occassion they've used it? Again, why are all those other people using the sign if it is simply a longhorn gesture?

from the link:

Additionally, people still seem to think the signal is solely the 'hook 'em horns' UT symbol. We know this to be true but this doesn't answer our primary questions.

1) If the symbol denotes Texas football or UT, why are people like Silvio Berlusconi and Bill Clinton doing it too? They have no links with Texas.

2) Why are the Bush family so obsessed with the signal, displaying it dozens of times during both the inauguration an the evening ball? A few times maybe we could accept, but why this many? What has Texas sports got do with a national inauguration?

We have now uncovered photos where the gesture is used in a clearly Satanic context. (END QUOTE)

Texas SPORTS has nothing to do with the inauguration. (I've said this) the BAND was. I think they also were at the ball.

but in one of my post I said:
"It is a sign of the School. At the Ball they played "The Eyes of Texas are upon you" It is UTs School Song. You do the hand sign when it is played. There were SEVERAL UT Alumi at his Inauguration."

That COULD explain why they did it at the ball.

Why do I have to defend the other people in the article... I'm not refuting that they are making some sign. There might be other things that happend before the picture that made them make the sign. But the linked articles are not 100% Proof that they are Satanic. That is the point that I wanted to make.

Taylor, Prince William, and McCartney, in the shots on that link, are all shown doing the sign for "I love you", with the thumb extended, not over the 2nd and 3rd fingertips. This sign is a combination of sign language symbols, I, L, and Y.
Hand signals can have multiple meanings. The surfer symbol for "hang ten" is also a gang symbol. Does that mean all surfers and surf fans are secretly gang members? I think this is just another case of fundamentalist fearmongering.
eta;
Since we all know that the symbol can represent Satanists, those who want to hide the fact that they ARE Satanists would be foolish to flash their connections so publicly.

The other links in my link mention the band. I'm not arguing with you...I simply find it strange that so many politicians not connected with even the USA, let alone Texas, do it!

Was Bush not 'elected' by the whole of the US? At such a solemn occasion as the inauguration, was this appropriate? Didn't it annoy all those americans not from Texas? This was the country's day, not just Bush and Texas.

I followed that Not Hook Em Horns link and I ended up reading about the Illuminati. Dan Brown's next book is about the Illuminati. Now, there's your conspiracy. Feed paranoia to promote a book.

The illuminati was around in one shape or another well before Brown was born. Look up Bush and Skull and Bones...also find out if 35 of the US presidents were related.

um, no, i don't think we should be afraid. if that was the case, there are a lot of symbols flashed all over the place that represent one thing or another. to say bush (or clinton, or kerry, or whoever) is a satanist is a bit of a stretch, i believe, and just a touch on the paranoid side.
