OK, say you shoot events, and you have like 120 photos from a certain even that you want to sell to the players / parents, etc...

Where is the best place to upload and sell the photos? I considered making it a part of my own website...but after a long (3-day) brainstorming and planning phase, and after spending quite a while creating a few pages, it's just way way too much without PHP knowledge and so on....

So anyway, I'd be looking for somewhere that is free (or cheap like $30 a year or something) does smugmug allow you to create your own prices and so on for the prints that you upload and to select the sizes that would be available etc...?

--

Anyway, link me up please, where do you sell your photos like this?

Hi Deapee, we do allow you to set your own prices. That's in our Pro Account, info here:
//www.smugmug.com/pro/

And here's a nice listing of some customized SmugMug Sites, showing things you can do with a SmugMug Pro Account:
//www.dgrin.com/showthread.php?t=27713

And my site: www.moonriverphotography.com

The fee is not free, it is $150 per year.

If you'd like more info, or explanations on anything at all, please feel free to email me at help@smugmug.com or check us out at our forum, Digital Grin //www.dgrin.com

All the best,

I think Shutterfly allows you to create an account where you can set up password protected galleries.

From what others have posted, pbase may also have the same setup.

I haven't used either so you'd have to check to see if they meet with your requirements.

you could look into Gallery 2.1.1
//gallery.menalto.com/
It works very well...php. There are add on modules for Carts, printing at different places, email (orders), ZIP downloads, and Paypal payments. Rather easy to set up and FREE. Every different folder is adjustable to the different specs YOU want, along with the "default" that you set.
