Hi there!

I received some much appreciated (and appreciative) comments on my Flower entry but only one had a suggestion on how to improve it. If any one could take a few moments to make some further suggestions it'd really help out. I've been trying to work on my food shots (good since we have a food challenge next) and any advice is sure to make a difference.

Here's the shot I entered:

' . substr('//images.dpchallenge.com/images_challenge/516/thumb/357166.jpg', strrpos('//images.dpchallenge.com/images_challenge/516/thumb/357166.jpg', '/') + 1) . '

Thanks in advance!

although I am not to bothered by it. I think the frame probably effects the picture in a negative way in the view of some voters.(I am never sure if I should frame my photos or not.) Another thing that sort of stands out to me as a distraction is the yellowish brown on the lower right.

Other than that I think you did a nice job setting up the photo it is nice color , nice focus and unique for this challenge.

Edited to make this readable by more people than just I.

Or, alternatively, you could just photoshop in a candle for Godzilla to light.
