The idea is very good, but I have a few complaints:
Jack's head is off-center in the ring of the club badge. I would move the statue to the right slightly.
The stadium isn't clear enough, and the clouds are blown out. I think you need a better background shot to work with. I don't like the light flare at the top of the frame either.
I can see some evidence of editing in the sky, above the word Blackburn.

Like I said, I do like the idea, and with some work you could end up with an excellent print - one which I would happily point all the Rovers fans I work with to.

with some opacity adjustments - it would come off more realistic

not too keen on the statue being see thru.

unless thats the intent? - maybe making the statue a different size - so his armpits are abouve the top of the stadium would highlite both parts of the image a bit better...

Are the leaves part of the badge thing? I think they should be taken out. I don't like how everything is dulled, the see thru factor. Maybe make the statue smaller so he looks like he's standing in the field. The border on the badge is messy, looks like you erased part of it. What's it to be used for?

Hi Neil - i agree with bod about the head needing to be in the centre of the badge, also the railing(?) on the left makes the picture a bit untidy. The effect is good. well done

Great for a first try tragicharpy, The only thing is you picked a bad team to showcase:-), never mind though I think you have done well.
