Just as a reminder gang- ' . substr('//www.dpchallenge.com/images/user_icon/31.gif', strrpos('//www.dpchallenge.com/images/user_icon/31.gif', '/') + 1) . ' fetor is a member of the community. If you have personal disagreement with his choice of profession, I would kindly offer that this is not the area to discuss them.

If you have concerns with "political tone" hit the report post button and let SC know. Do not be the one to instigate a deeper political discussion. This has pretty obviously been a thread started by his mother looking for some support from the community. She's his mother and is allowed to feel pride in his choice of profession. You do not have to agree with it. You do not need to be pro war to post a comment saying you hope her son comes home safe. Remember that our community is built on RESPECT. You do not need to agree. You do need to respect your fellow members.

I hope Cory has a safe tour and comes home soon. Semper Fi.

I thought we were going to keep this thread from getting political.

Perhaps when you have time you could explain the "Political" aspects of this comment. Expressions of support relative to a career choice surely cannot be remotely associated with any political undertakings.
