Suprisingly no dq request but my score is falling rapidly. It started with a 7 lowering my score and now 6's are hurting me :(

Last couple of challenges I noticed the low voters all came out at the same time, and then come the weekend my Ice score started climbing again with a string of high votes. Really odd.

From my own guesswork I reckon there's at least 10 in there for DQ - brace yourself...

It'll go higher, I think. I'd guess about 8 - there are at least two more that I think are likely to be DQd, and a couple more questionable ones. Most of the obvious DQs I saw could've been avoided if the rules had been clearer or the shooters had read the thread. For better or worse, if there's a rules change, read the relevant thread!

What obvious method am I missing by which you guys are tracking dq's? I didn't see the # of submissions value drop between 5 and 6th dq's.

My guaranteed winner disappeared, taking my 10 vote with it. :( I thought it looked pretty good...

Hmmm, that was a good shot. You could give your 10 to my shot if you like ;)

You get lots of comments when there is apparently one specific thing wrong with your picture... :)

At roll-over there were a total of 86 entries. I'm simply subtracting the current number of entries from 86 and you have the number of Dairy Queens in the challenge.

I could have sworn I saw 89 at one point.

Am I the only one willing to admit a DQ? I'm sure I am in good company, though my entry was so pathetic this time, the others may not want to be in that group with me. I still see 2-3 that will probably be gone before it's over...

The way to find out how many DQs (now 6) is to click on the little document icon that's at the end of the challenge description right at the top of the voting page. The little icon also appears just off the lower right corner of each image in voting.

All kinds of interesting stats on the page that pops up. For example, currently:
Submissions: 79
Votes Cast: 12,213
Comments Made: 1,090
Participants: 235 (submitters, voters, commenters)
Disqualifications: 6

As for my shot, the comments continue to roll in:
Votes: 147
Views: 332
Avg Vote: 5.6803
Comments: 22

My shot is still around 6.1

However, I just received the coolest comment ever, thanks to the one and only ' . substr('//www.dpchallenge.com/images/user_icon/21.gif', strrpos('//www.dpchallenge.com/images/user_icon/21.gif', '/') + 1) . ' posthumous. From his comment I was able to get into the thoughts and minds of Site Council and see their discussion in action. Very cool. My life is now complete.

I think you speak about my photo. It was 7,5 the time that DQ and the reason was "Moving frames relative to each other is outside the Advance Rules".
I had move the layers in order to saw the sequence because the bird was in the same place to all the photos ....I didn't read carefully the rules again:)(second time in one month)
Never mind i was very lucky because this happen in frond of me and i had the opportunity to capture it and see it of course
One "bird's" breath,One "fish's" death was the name of the photo

Thanks for the great comments and your time

As my personal idea, I had many doubt on many shots that now are dsq, probably there will be others dsq in next hours.
My photo as been validated, unfortunately not a great average score :) . I will wait another day before voting on this challenge
