So a couple o' weeks ago I went observing with ' . substr('//www.dpchallenge.com/images/user_icon/21.gif', strrpos('//www.dpchallenge.com/images/user_icon/21.gif', '/') + 1) . ' strangeghost and ' . substr('//www.dpchallenge.com/images/user_icon/21.gif', strrpos('//www.dpchallenge.com/images/user_icon/21.gif', '/') + 1) . ' kirbic for the first time ever. Strangeghost helped me piggyback the 30D and polar align and he pointed me in the direction of some interesting objects. It seems like it really doesn't take much, except good equipment, a lot of patience, and enthusiasm.

Quick edits from that night:

M42: ' . substr('//images.dpchallenge.com/images_portfolio/25000-29999/25378/120/670248.jpg', strrpos('//images.dpchallenge.com/images_portfolio/25000-29999/25378/120/670248.jpg', '/') + 1) . ' and the Leo Triplet: ' . substr('//images.dpchallenge.com/images_portfolio/25000-29999/25378/120/670250.jpg', strrpos('//images.dpchallenge.com/images_portfolio/25000-29999/25378/120/670250.jpg', '/') + 1) . '

I can't wait to go out again. I'm excited for some summer nebulae and I want to use the 400 and try setting up and polar aligning by myself.
