Hi fellow DPCers!

I'll be spending a month in Greece from Sept 14 to Oct 16. I'll be mostly island hopping. My route isn't completely made yet but I plan on going to Crete, Santorini and Sifnos. The rest I don't know yet.

I would love to have the opportunity to meet some fellow Greek DPCers! If any of you out there you like to meet up let me know! Please tell me where you live so that I can plan accordingly. :)

BTW, do any of you know where this is?

Also, any great place in Greece for awesome photography? :)

There are some 52 to be exact by way of the location they have in their profile. Are you familiar with any on the list?

Hi, I 'm Greek but in the UK. The place is Meteora, sadly a long way from the islands. Try to visit the south of crete, some wicked places for photography there. Let me know if you need more info. I just came back from a 3 week holiday there, mostly spent at pelion mountain near volos. Amazing landscapes and breathtaking beaches. Well worth a visit if you go that way. Here are a couple of photos. Living in a cave by the beach was lots of fun!

Drop me an email if you need any more info.

I lived and studied in Greece...Athens and Santorini.

I am quite familiar with both of those places if you want to hit me up with questions.

In Santorini, go to the small town of Akrotiri and wander around empty streets for "real" greek island life. Also check out nearby Red Beach..more for locals and great color.

Red Beach

Naturally, there is a black beach and white beach...along with a rock beach. But this was my favorite.

Thx hsolakidis for the info and your cool photos! I guess I'll keep Meteora for another trip. :)

Hey Beau! Please tell pme more about Santorini! I'm falling in love with it the more I read about it. From what I've read, it's better to stay in Firostefani. email me at yc @ image-y.com and we can chat. :)

Keep it coming guys!! :)
