There's yet another website where DPC Images are being displayed without attribution or permission. In fact, there appear to be over 400 images taken from DPC there.

The images are, as far as I can tell, in the gallery called: "Makes me smile". According to the RSS, there are over 400 images where the media name is: Copyrighted_Image_Reuse_Prohibited (which is what DPC images used to "save as").

The website is here:

//deborahseamon.webs.com/

Here are some samples and the DPC owners:

doctornick: //deborahseamon.webs.com/apps/photos/photo?photoid=65945440

Ursula: //deborahseamon.webs.com/apps/photos/photo?photoid=65945459

Hopper: //deborahseamon.webs.com/apps/photos/photo?photoid=25198586

Konador: //deborahseamon.webs.com/apps/photos/photo?photoid=65936152

Her website states she's done a few shows including the local Audubon society.

You may want to check for your own images and send her an email to remove them. It would be interesting to find out if she's also been selling them...since she does look like she's selling small images in shows from one of her exhibit photos. HOWEVER: I can't see the images, and I don't know whether those are her own images, or those of others.

The website owner also has a membership here ' . substr('//www.dpchallenge.com/images/user_icon/21_F.gif', strrpos('//www.dpchallenge.com/images/user_icon/21_F.gif', '/') + 1) . ' debbys. So you can contact her that way, or via her contact info on her site.

be a little bit careful, people. Stopzilla blocked it as a malicious website when I tried to access it.

I tried to figure out if I could add photos(ones which were likely not taken by her) to a shopping cart and then purchase. I was unsuccessful. dunno--she must get around, as her photos represent North to south, east to west.

this triptych of osprey ' . substr('//images.dpchallenge.com/images_challenge/0-999/664/120/Copyrighted_Image_Reuse_Prohibited_503158.jpg', strrpos('//images.dpchallenge.com/images_challenge/0-999/664/120/Copyrighted_Image_Reuse_Prohibited_503158.jpg', '/') + 1) . ' is shown framed and hanging on a wall in her folder "exhibit photos" here...

would take some more investigation, I guess, but at first glance it seems a bit hinky

WARNING:

Please be aware!! When I go to this site, my Spyware software blocks it with the following message:

Attack Prevented Successfully!
STOPzilla has blocked a potentially malicious site.
A malicious Web site attempts to infect visitors with Spyware, or is a Phishing site. Phishing sites are fraudulent sites designed to look like legitimate commercial Web sites. Their purpose is to acquire sensitive personal data (user names, passwords, credit card numbers, account information, etc.) for potential identity theft and other criminal activities. For optimal security, always make sure that you have the latest updates to STOPzilla installed on your computer. For your protection, STOPzilla is updated as often as every thirty minutes with the latest definitions to block Phishing sites.

That being said, if anyone notices any of my photos, I'd love to know. (I can't get to the site, obviously...)

what happens if it turns out she is stealing pics from this site and claiming them as her own? What can we (she isn't about to steal mine) do about it?

I suspect the harassment she gets will encourage her to stay away from DPC. She will certainly delete the unpleasant comments in the guestbook that some of us have already left. If she continues to steal images, she will find that people know each other, recognize each others work and it will always catch up with her.

Wendy--since her address is a subdomain of webs.com, I'm guessing there warning applies to another site on that same URL (but not subdomain).

I don't see an error with Norton Safe Surfing, or via their web check service:

The most important thing I noticed though is...she didn't like any of my photo's *pout*

I have enough security measures in place that I am probably safe. I did not see any photos that I recognized as yours, but there could be. She seems to collect primarily bird and wildlife images.

A link to her facebook page for her business!

It looks like she is stealing from this site and selling it on her own. That is a FEDERAL offense in the United States and can be reported here https://tips.fbi.gov/

It is, thanks. Has any one had a look at her albums from the craft shows where she apparantly sells our photos - the frames and such like are truly hideous!

I didn't realize this but I guess you can write a review for her photo page at facebook if she stole any of these photos.

I have looked at the craft show folders and one picture offered on her wares is bothering me to no end - this shot (no. 77 if the link doesn't go right to it) - I swear I used to have this favorited here at DPC, but it doesn't seem to be on the site anymore. Anyone remember it? She appears to be selling it here.
