Two photographers, Greg Ruiz and Carla Patterson, are among the 5 artists sharing an Open Studio venue in El Sobrante CA this weekend. We'd like to invite anyone in the area who is interested to come join us sometime between 11 and 6 on either Sat or Sun at 772 El Centro Rd, El Sobrante (take 80 to Hilltop Mall exit and go up the hill instead of down into the mall - it's the 2nd right and there will be Open Studio signs along the way). Besides the photographers, both of whom use digital pretty much exclusively (a Nikon 5700 for Greg and a Nikon 8700 for Carla), there are three other artists doing watercolors, making sculptures out of altoid tins, and doing oil paintings and garden sculpture. Refreshments will be served and it all takes place in a beautifully landscaped back garden.
