I would not have entered this challenge - I'm sure the entries are going to be spectacular - and this in comparison is going to be childlike. But I had to do it for Ken. So I do hope he likes it. :-)

I took the base shot this morning at the Manhattan Beach pier. Stuck the camera out through the railing and used on board flash.

The label was handwritten (poorly, I might add - should have redone that part) on a piece of paper, which was then taped to the window and photographed. I tried to "spherize" the label to make it sorta fit the railing - not sure it worked quite like I wanted it to but I tried! Then used either soft light or overlay blending mode to blend it in to the railing a bit more.

The godzilla head came from Ken's source file. I erased a bit on the neck to fade it into the pigeon's feathers, and took the eye from the pigeon and replaced the godzilla eye.

The overlay is a texture from my texture folder, something I shot in 2006.

For someone who is not an expert editor, I am really kinda pleased with this monstrosity!
