Wife vetoed all my awesome ideas involving my three months old daughter. Scrambled for another idea at the last minute and this was all I could muster.

-------------------------------------
I guess the lesson learned with this one is I should ignore the challenge description and shoot a better photo. My only solace is I know the difference between an idiom, simile and euphemism.

Very good euphemism. You make your point well by showing this image in contrast to the title. A bit too much reality for me, but I understand your artistic point. Better than average image. (not voting in, nor entering Open challenges)

i like the volume of "waterland" in the middle row of books. The yellow makes one very uncomfortable. So it works!

Gross! LOL.
Other than the obvious reason for disgust, I like this shot a lot. The tilt and lens distortion works great... almost makes you feel like you've been drinking. Not quite sure about the picture on the floor, kind of takes away from the photo. But the lighting works, the colors are nicely shot, and the image definitely fits the title. Great job. 8
