 0716 - this Red let me get so close that it was difficult backing off enough with my lens to get this head shot - I know it won't do well but as my 100th entry it means a lot to me. Shot at sunset hence the saturated colors.

Beautiful hawk; it's not often I see detail down to the eyelashes on such a creature.

nice capture in the wild, I think a square crop with less negative space above the head would improve this for me
