 My art doesn't consist of "Advanced Editing" (because I don't have the computer hardware to do it), but simply a decent shot with the minimalistic equipment I have (Nikon D60, Nikkor 18-200mm). This is art to me. It hangs on my bedroom wall everyday, and it will remain for quite sometime.

This photo was taken January 2011 while traveling to Kruger National Park, South Africa with a student group from Central Connecticut State University, New Britain Connecticut, USA. We spent twenty hours each day studying and photographing the wildlife. A week of sleepless nights began to take its toll; I was amazed at the uncanny ability of my companions to fall asleep on the rickety bus; resting like a pack of lions after a long hunt. On the final day the mood changed quickly like someone won a lottery jackpot, “LEOPARD AHEAD!” Although the wildlife was stunning, the true highpoint of the trip was the people I met. I will never forget standing side by side with new lifelong friends, gazing upon the golden grasses and the setting sun of Africa.

You captured him/her very sharply. I wish the surrounds weren't so busy so he'd stand out more.

One of the most beautiful creatures on the planet! I love this shot. I think the foreground of tall grass takes away from the beauty, it's somewhat distracting. But this is a gorgeous shot, nonetheless.
