| Lovely multi-layered photograph. It's so satisfying to engage with this picture. As a photograph, as a person, as a situation. It's a beautifully ordered thing, as if you have conjured a still life out of a stilled life. |

| This one is interesting. I love the contrast, I love the atmosphere, but it doesn't grab me like the other one. I enjoy it, but I keep seeing the basket over his head. It's silly, but I'm allowing it to distract me. Nothing distracts me in the other shot. |

| I prefer this. Your imposition of artifice on reality is more convincing than your attempt to stage a real feeling, though both methods can work. |
