A pic of my fiance's pug..waiting for her to come home on her favourite spot by the door.

The window was very overexposed, so know that will kill my score. Still like the image though. The doorknob could be a little more in-frame, but adds a nice juxtaposition to the subject.

Wonder if I'll get DNMC's for having more than one subject? Probably. Expecting a 5.5 or so.

Aww... she is so cute. And I can see that "waiting" look on her face.

Actually, I think it is perfect that the doorknob's position doesn't adhere to "the rules".
It makes it feel so very much out of reach, and I keep finding myself glancing towards it (in sympathy for the dog) just in case it should move a little.....

A 10 from me. That's a lot of space between the door knob and the bed, but I see it as emphasizing the long time suggested in your title. Excellent detail and expression/pose on the dog and the perspective is great.

the exposure is perfect and I like the composition, with the important details near the edges.

Awww... he looks so pitiful. Love the detail of his fur. The main distraction here is the doorknob. I think if it was cropped out, it would have worked better. Love the color, the simplicity, the sadness to his face. Great shot.

Ahh...really looks lonely. Nice high key affect and great model for the challenge.

I like your composition. The vertical lines of the door work. ;) 7

Oh. Fabulous!

The door knob just really MAKES this image!

Well... that and the genuine despair of the model. Poor thing.
