 This was taken with my Fuji s9600 before I jumped into the Canon camp later in 2011.. I loved that camera and stand by it can still take a cracking shot.

The model is the lovely Gemma Chan (//www.modelmayhem.com/711539)

The banana idea was my girlfriends and she done the models makeup and placed the banana slices etc so i can't take credit for that, just the photography and editing on this shot lol

Editing: cropped, brightness and contrast adjusted using levels, cloned out several very small spots/blemishes on the models skin, desaturated the magenta hue completely, desaturated the red hues to around halve their value to lighten the skin more and help the yellow stand out, denoised with topa denoise 4, sharpened with topaz sharpen, resized for dpc and sharpened a little again.

This is something different. I was going to do something similar with my son for the palindrome shot "yo, banana boy". Didn't get a chance to do it before the deadline though.

Nice clean background. The colors are soft.
Something you don't see every day.

Gosh...I never would have thought to use banana highlights in a model's hair to entertain the viewer. ;-)

Not really sure what to say about the bananas, might just skip that. Technically pleasing, nice up feel to the model, liking the high key tendency.
