 This is by far the most I've worked for a photo so far - let's hope it pays off!

Drove with the girlfriend 1.5 hours to Mantova to get this shot, around 10:30 pm there was a ton of traffic on the bridge (the row of lights on the right) leading into the center and the water was not playing well either... after about 45 minutes of various settings and tries we packed it up and went to eat also because she was shivering so much i thought she'd keel over into the lake!

however on the way home around 1:30 to my luck the traffic had slowed and the lake had calmed a bit so i fiddled some more and got about 10 to 15 shots - of which i think this is the best.

my first time really dedicating myself to a panorama at night so i played with all the settings, knowing with my 550D that above 400 iso the noise gets unacceptable (for me and my setup in PP anyway).

anyway, I really hope this does well as i've also spent hours pouring over it trying to make it the best photo it can be. We'll see!

that row of trees on the left is a good addition to the shot. There is a feeling of brown stillness.
