 Honestly, it's as "processed" as I want it to be. I had no interest in making it any less drab than it was in real life. Thank you for all the comments.

Afterthought: I loved that people saw both hope and despair in this image. And some saw both.

And thanks for the fishy!

I hate this image. Came beck to it twice just to make certain that it really is ugly. Of course not, but it must remind me of something/somewhere/someone nasty.

I had no idea this was a bvy, although I should have known. The as-is style steps aside and lets the viewer wander and wonder. Well done Brian.

Not anything I find visually appealing, but that's just me. I think if the fence was blurred, and the rest was in focus, it would have looked better. But I can get the sense that perhaps, you kept the "pretty" in focus, and let the "ugly" be out of focus.
