Great title that shows an understanding of what makes this photo magical. I love the way this disorients me. I just want you to know that this was in my personal Top 6. |

This image seems to effect people in a way they can't describe. No higher praise than that. |

So what compelled you to capture this moment? Good eye to see the dog supporting the line between the light and shadows. |

Visually, I really like this shot. Conceptually it also works really well. I get the reflections work as headstones. The connection with the title does make this a shot to look at and ponder about more than average. Though I cant help wonder if there could be a more cheerful approach as the dog is quite cute :) (just commenting, no vote) |

I've come back to this about three or four times now. It just keeps growing on me and I don't even know why!? I keep bumping it up, but now I can't bump any further : )
Wonderful stuff!! : ) |

Voted earlier coming back to comment now.
This is one of those compositions that can play with your mind. At first, I know that the poodle is taking a nap on the floor with the windows reflected on the polished wood floor. But the overhead angle looking down makes it look as if he is 'walking' on solid ground passing by windows. The interesting angle does make it look as if, in his dreams, he walks past some 'heavenly' windows in the sky. Indeed those window reflections take on the invoked idea of clouds. |

Looks like the line of light goes right through the dog; they can always find the best spots to rest. Nice capture. (voted earlier) |

Great title! Very shiny floor also.
Cute, simplistic, detailed... love the reflections of the windows. Beautiful color. |

Well, he looks more like he's napping...I like how the windows reflect and open into the doorway of his/her dreams. |

I wonder what this would be like in B&W??? I don't think I would see this in a gallery/coffee shop...but I've been wrong before... |

Interesting illusion that's happier than your title suggests. |
