| Its a good subject, but I think the composition and lighting is lacking a good bit. Offset the subject some to increase interest. Find unique angles. The lighting from the right is too bright, and overexposed the keys on that side. Overall, though, a cool subject that reminds me of my old house. Just a few technical issues to be worked out. |

This shot seems a little over-warm to me (if that makes sense). Perhaps it's the strong gold tones, and the lighting to the left of the frame. Also, I think that it was cropped a little too much, being that the top is barely chopped off.
Did you try this in black and white? I think that may have done better. But that's just my opinion. :)
Overall, I like the keys and the idea. Good luck. :) |
