I very nearly skipped by this image, I'm glad i stopped and took more time. I really like the processing and overall look. A slice of everyday life.

First thing I noticed... Edgar Allen Poe... one of my all-time favorite writers. I love the darkness and the color to this shot... it adds a "dark mysteriousness" to it. The noise/grain works in favor here. The coffee cup adds that little extra to the shot. The way it's composed is beautiful. Very nicely done
